Aarhus combines Viking history with contemporary Nordic cool. The ARoS Art Museum, crowned by Olafur Eliasson's Rainbow Panorama — a circular walkway of colored glass on the rooftop — is the city's icon. The Latin Quarter is a tangle of medieval streets with independent shops, cafes, and the 13th-century Cathedral.
