1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Roamee ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Roamee is a walking tour application that provides pre-generated and AI-assisted narrated audio tours, navigation, and tour companion features. The app offers both free and premium subscription tiers with varying levels of access to content and features.

3. Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account using Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

Roamee offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Referral Program

Roamee may offer a referral program that rewards users with free premium days for inviting friends. Referral rewards are subject to change, may have caps or expiration dates, and may be revoked if abuse or fraudulent activity is detected.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Upload or share content that is offensive, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers, networks, or infrastructure
Create multiple accounts to abuse the referral program or other promotional features

7. Content & Intellectual Property

All tour content, narrations, descriptions, audio, images, and other materials provided through Roamee are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.

8. User-Generated Content

When you upload photos or other content through features like Photo Drop, you retain ownership of your content but grant Roamee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display it within the app. You may delete your content at any time. You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload.

9. Location Services

Roamee uses your device's location services to provide proximity-based narration and navigation. You are responsible for your personal safety while following tour routes. Roamee is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur while using the app. Always be aware of your surroundings, obey traffic signals, and exercise caution.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Roamee is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Tour information, including historical facts, descriptions, and navigation directions, is provided for entertainment and informational purposes and may not always be fully accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roamee and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of data.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Roamee at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of Roamee after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
